Trick or Vote

You like costumes? Yes. You like candy? Of course! You like combining the two, and making sure thousands thousands of young people vote? Excellent, then Trick or Vote is for you!

On Halloween, the Bus and hundreds of our friends come together for a costumed get-out-the-vote canvass, plus an awesome afterparty (natch). Trick or Vote is the easiest way for you to have a huge impact on getting young people to vote, and you get candy too. The hardest part is coming up with an amazing costume. Aw yeah.

In 2008, 300 of our closest friends knocked on over 6,500 doors on Halloween to get-out-the-vote in a ginormous costumed canvass just one week before the election.

In 2009, we knocked on over 8,700 doors in Seattle and over 10,000 across Washington State to support Referendum 71 and vote NO on I-1033.
