We partner with dozens of high school classrooms each year to promote civics education, focused on actionable ways young people can create change in their own communities. We focus our resources on engaging students primarily in King and Pierce Counties. If you want to talk to us about opportunities for the Bus to present at your school, contact our outreach team!

Classroom to the community!
We run workshops at high schools to educate students about how social justice issues are connected to our political process. Students learn how to connect their values to electoral action and voter registration, and the skills to create change on issues in their own community. Following this initial workshop, students are left with the tools to engage their peers on issues they care about and are invited to participate in other Bus programs, including our Internship. In the Internship, participants learn to build and execute a campaign plan with their cohort, and evaluate their work’s efficacy.
